Fragments of Silence

Entering Piacente’s monochromatic period marks a profound, exciting and artistic evolution, a deliberate stripping away of excess colour to reveal the raw core of expression. Drawing inspiration from the master himself - Pablo Picasso, he channels a lineage of artistic introspection, where the absence of colour or predominately tone-on-tone colour use magnifies form, contrast, and emotion.

This 36x48” acrylic on canvas masterwork stands as both an excavation and a revelation—an unearthing of fragmented emotions long buried beneath time’s sediment. The interplay of light and shadow, texture and movement, suggests a dialogue between past and present, where subconscious echoes take visual form.
