The ‘Hypnotech’ series uses bold colours mixed with white, greys, and black creates a striking contrast that methodically draws the viewer’s eye to the centre, while the subtle use of shadows does the heavylifting in creating an organic hypnotic state as the viewer’s focus moves from the outer to the inner rings. The work also represents the human experience of removing layer after layer and continually arriving closer to the essence of who we are and what we believe in.
